FALSE MIRROR 2018
An early performance staged for the camera in the artist’s Bushwick studio. Engaging directly with a mirror—lifting, repositioning, and revealing—the work explores presence and absence, reflection and concealment. Performed nude, the body itself becomes both exposed and estranged, marking vulnerability as central to the act. The mirror mediates between intimacy and distance, turning gestures of self-regard into images of fragility and endurance.
