IF YOU DANCED FROM MIDNIGHT TO SIX A.M. WHO WOULD UNDERSTAND
2021
This installation arranges found pillows and a six-foot chain as a site of queer compulsion and fixation. The objects suggest cycles of comfort and confinement, desire and restraint—restless energies that refuse resolution. The work lingers on how queer attachments persist through repetition, obsession, and the nocturnal pull of the night.
