MEMORY OF SPACE MEMORY OF DESIRE MEMORY OF SURVIVAL 2019
PS120, BERLIN
Created for the exhibition In-Visible Realness, marking the 50th anniversary of Stonewall, this outdoor installation presented banners combining personal photographs and text. Installed in public space, the work wove together intimate memory with collective queer history, staging a dialogue between individual desire and shared survival. By situating personal archives within the context of Stonewall’s legacy, the piece underscored the persistence of queer presence across generations—fragmentary, vulnerable, and resilient.
