The Mirror Stage is an installation at Assembly Room in New York's Lower East Side. The installation draws on Lacan's theory in the development of realizing one's body as an other, as an object, as a material. The Mirror Stage experiments with fragmenting and manipulating source materials such as one's own body, and creating a new form through immediate processes of collaging, scanning, re-printing, and re-composing.
